Great location for Island and fishing. Home could use some upgrades. Pool needed to be vaccuumed and was only skimmed on top by pool guy once while we stayed. No extra toiletries for our stay, so we had to buy extra garbage bags and toilet paper. We washed all bedding before we slept as we found lots of hair in sheets. Could have been from animal. Lack of communication from property management company.

Disappointed !

Review by Kristy S.
No AC for two nights they did install a new unit on day three. Said they would refund our money for two nights have asked for it three times and nothing. Had to wash all the blankets on couch as they were stained. Dock is horrible. Main living room is nice and master bedroom bed is comfortable. The rest of the house is outdated!! Bathroom Mats were filthy.

SEVERE DISAPPOINTMENT

Review by michael k.
This without a doubt is the worst villa i have ever rented and the WORST property manager i have ever encountered.I booked this property after much online research as according to the photos it was well maintained and had a 24 hour property emergency manager for problems.I had stayed in New Port Richey before so knew the area and the canal system etc.Its a beautiful place which is why i returnedOn arrival at the property i opened the door and couldnt believe the stale smell that hit me.On close inspection i found that water was lying in the bottom of the dishwasher along with white scum.It then got worse as i opened the door into the wash room IT LITERALLY FELL OFF ITS HINGES ONTO THE FLOOR.The property was not very clean there was some bits of rubbish in the trash that where stuck to the inside and stains around the sink and worktops.I texted the property manager David first thing Saturday morning to make him aware of the dishwasher and door problems.Sent him photos to his phone so he could see what i was telling himHE replied inside an hour and said he would get his people onto it ASAP.Great i thoughtSaturday came and went with no more info or anyone calling.Same thing Sunday. Monday nothing. Infact i never heard from David again. The bedrooms on first inspection looked ok.On closer inspection after lying on the beds a couple of nights i again noticed a smell of sweat.Upon taking off the pillow covers i discovered pillows at least 10 years old covered in sweat stains.GROSS.The sheets on the beds where fine but i couldnt believe the state of the pillows .As no one was getting back to me about a door falling off and a blocked dishwasher i decided to just buy new pillows as there where only four of us staying in the houseWe later left with a goodwill shop day we leftThis property is run down and just not looked afterDining room and Pool are acceptable barbecue again not clean. This pr

New Port Richey, FL Stay

Review by Kathy L.
We had a fabulous time in New Port Richey. The home we stayed in was an older place but nice. The home needs a few improvements which we pointed out to the manager but beds and house itself were very comfortable. The outback was the best. Beautiful and scenic on the canal. We spent a lot of time sitting on the covered patio or relaxing in the pool. We would definitely stay here again. We even had a Momma manatee and her baby swim up to our dock. It was quite exciting. There was a bit of a hiccup at the start of our stay but Dave Lemon took care of us. Dave cares about your stay and goes above and beyond to make sure you are happy and satisfied. If you rent a place with Dave’s name attached as the reservation/realtor, I guarantee you will be happy. He responds to your phone calls/emails promptly. I know I will watch for his name in the future and rent a place through Pytha Vacation Rentals again. Thank you Dave.

Close to the water with dolphins swimming around. Nice pool and outdoor area. Need to update the information folder in the house that is outdated. Private beach area is not available, garage access is not available (needed to wait 2 days for paddles to the kayak)

Wonderful Vacation Home

Review by Carla K.
We could not of asked for a better place to stay for our vacation. We fished almost every day. There are many beaches, Howard Park, Anclote, Sunset beach, and Green Key.the house was spotless and open. The pictures do not do this place justice. It was beyonding our expectations. Our dog also loved it. There is a doggie daycare called Sit Stay Play only 20 mins away that is very affordable and does behavior training no extra cost. Sponge Docks only 15 mins away. The area is very chill and relaxing and we are looking forward to planning again next year.

Family vacation 2017

Review by Lara S.
The house was beautiful. We enjoyed fishing off the privated dock where we fished till the sunset and then some, it was fabulous. The house was just how it is described very clean and well kept. David was so kind to take all my calls and I am a worrier but he was very kind. The house was well equipped with everything linnes, towels, pans, dishes even spices to cook with. Oh yeah the kids loved the pool just out the back door. I can't say enough good things about this beautiful house and David. Thank you for making our vacation so nice. Lara

Sunset house

Review by Sharon V.
Older house, but well maintained and in good condition. Location is fantastic, great for kayaking. The rental agent, David, was very professional and always available to answer questions and help with any problems or issues. The only downside to this house, there is not a garage for your vehicle. I will definitely stay at this house again.
